I purchased this to alleviate bedsores on my small dog, who had become bedridden. A hole had formed on his body due to the bedsores, and I bought this in a hurry. Thanks to this product and medication from the vet, the hole closed up and hasn't reappeared. I regret not buying this earlier, even when he was still able to walk in his later years; perhaps I could have spared him the pain. I used the product with its dedicated cover and laid a towel on it.
