It appears that my great aunt in Kyoto may have had this kimono altered when she was younger.
It looks like an irregular stripe pattern in two colors, purple and celadon. The celadon color uses both a grayish tone and a bluish tone, creating a nuanced three-color scheme (Photos 1, 2).
There are signs of alterations on the sleeve length, the length from the center of the back of the neck to the wrist, the lining of the lower part of the kimono (hakkake), and the lining.

The most noticeable stain is on the hem of the right sleeve front. Is this kimono fabric called Meisen? It has a shiny texture, making it difficult to find the stains. There may be more. It can also be used as a material for remaking.

It has a bati-eri collar (a type of collar). There is a slight abrasion and discoloration on the right side of the bati-eri collar, which is indicated by an arrow in Photo 8.
