I confirmed that it powers on, and it's very beautiful with no issues. My child bought this when they were in elementary school (they're now in university) and used it a few times, but it was put away in its box before being used much. There is some peeling and fading on the metal parts due to aging. The outer box has also aged, with some discoloration and damage to the corners. There are also marks from where tape was removed. I've uploaded photos of the globe itself, so please take a look. I don't see any noticeable scratches, stains, or deterioration. (＞ω＜)
