This is a hanhaba obi (half-width obi) with a pattern of dark pink and black checks, accented with pink lines. I bought it at an antique market or a used clothing store, but I think it's more like obi fabric than a finished obi. The edges weren't finished, so I folded them over three times and sewed them myself. Lately, summers are hot, so I think a thinner one is actually better. There is some fading and color loss in places. The length is about 284cm and the width is 15cm.
