They are characterized by the blue lines that stand out against the white background and the black speckle pattern included in the glaze during firing. My parents purchased these 60 years ago and kept them stored on a shelf. It appears they were never used, but they were occasionally washed, so I've stopped considering them as unused. They are used items, so they are not perfect. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for perfection.
