This is a small spinning reel, the "204," made by the French fishing tackle manufacturer, "Mitchell." I believe this is a rare model that isn't often seen. The size is similar to a 1000-size reel, suitable for light tackle fishing like in mountain streams. It's about the same size as the Mitchell 308 and 408, and the Abu Garcia Cardinal 33. The exterior is generally clean, but there is a repair mark on the bail arm. Also, there is some paint chipping on the reel foot. The mechanism is in good working order, and I have performed a basic cleaning and greasing for this listing. The bail return works, and the clicker ratchet also functions. The drag seems to work as well, but please note that I haven't used it for actual fishing. As this is a very old item, returns and exchanges are not accepted.
