All Solid Wood Classical Guitar Yukinobu Chai 1974 No. 10 * Although this guitar is a No. 10, it is all solid wood (spruce top, with matching grain on the back and sides) with Brazilian rosewood. However, it appears that the sides originally used Brazilian rosewood with some blemishes. (See images 8 and 9) * There is a crack on the top that is not noticeable unless pointed out (see image 10), but it has been carefully repaired from the back. * In my opinion, the Brazilian rosewood gives the guitar a clear, well-defined sound, and the sound that projects forward is pleasant. * Top: Solid Spruce Back & Sides: Solid Brazilian Rosewood * Frets: 18F * Nut Width: Approximately 51mm * Scale Length: Approximately 650mm (6th string) * String Height: 6th string at 12th fret: Approximately 3.5mm 1st string at 12th fret: Approximately 2.5mm * Saddle Height Remaining: 6th string: Approximately 2.0mm 1st string: Approximately 1.0mm * Neck: Almost straight * The case in the images is included, but there is some repair to areas where the surface has peeled off.
