This is a popular set of teacups with a rice-pattern design from China. Known as "Hotaru-toushi" (rice-pattern), it has been manufactured for decades by Hachishin Pottery. Its colors and high-class translucent design boast a unique presence. It is exported overseas, used as tableware in upper-class homes that appreciate ceramic art, or as lighting decorations to adorn rooms.
