This is an auction for a kozutsumi (small hand drum) with matching drumheads. The drum has been well-played, producing a soft sound. One of the drumheads is inscribed with "Daigokujo-jo" (highest quality) and a mark indicating its origin. It will be shipped in the accompanying shifuku (protective cloth bag). There are signs of aging, such as flaking lacquer, but this drum has been played while being repaired, such as with re-lacquering. There are no damages that would hinder performance, such as torn skin or broken threads.
