Since the paper feed roll is made of rubber, paper feeding becomes unstable due to aging deterioration, regardless of the cumulative number of printed sheets. I have purchased a large quantity for recycling, so it is offered at a low price. I have been using both the flat type and this radial type for about 2 years. ＜My personal opinion on the performance of this compatible roll＞ The paper feeding performance is equal to or higher than the genuine product. The conveying power of the radial type is almost the same as the flat type, and the grip is slightly better. There is no specific direction to install this roll. ＜Reference: How to identify paper feed problems due to roll deterioration or wear＞ Set a single sheet of paper in the paper feed tray, and while slightly pushing the back end of the paper in the feeding direction with your hand, instruct it to copy or print. If it copies or prints without any problems, it is almost certainly "paper feed failure due to roll deterioration or wear" → If you can assist the paper feed by hand, it is almost certainly "paper feed failure due to roll deterioration or wear". There are various other causes of paper feed problems, but about 90% of the ones I have recycled have "paper feed failure due to roll deterioration or wear". If you hear a "crack" like a plastic breaking sound or a scratching sound during the initial operation when the power is turned on, it is a paper feed failure due to mechanical damage.
