The color palette is also mostly basic, primarily using black, navy, gray, beige, and white. They place emphasis on silhouettes that flatter the wearer and high-quality materials that express those silhouettes, which are suitable for the times. In particular, they emphasize the selection of high-quality fabrics, and clothing production starts after the fabric is chosen. They repeat the process of narrowing down from over 10,000 swatches (material samples) to 300, 100, 50, and then 30, about four times.
