This flute is tuned to 442Hz, equal temperament, and produces a very accurate do-re-mi scale, like a flute. The mouthpiece is slightly smaller than a typical shinobue flute, making it easier for women to play, and it produces clear tones from the first octave's Do to the third octave's Re. After trying it out, I ended up using a flute in a different key and have kept this one in storage, so I hope someone can make good use of it.
