A set of three silver sake cups commemorating the 50th anniversary of Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd., with a wooden box and certificate of authenticity. The back of the cups are hallmarked by the Japan Mint. The back of the large cup reads: "50th Anniversary Commemoration May 5, 1968 Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd." These have been stored in a cupboard in a storage shed for a long time. As they are made of pure silver, there is some clouding and soiling due to aging. Although they appear to be unused, there are traces of the wrapping paper having been opened and closed many times, suggesting that they were looked at and handled frequently when they were received. It is said that silver products will tarnish when touched by human hands. The noshi in image 12 has been removed.
