This is the 2nd generation Apple Pencil. I am selling it because my iPad mini broke and I upgraded to the latest version, so I also replaced the pencil. It was working without any problems until my iPad broke. I have used it for over two years, and while there is some wear and tear on the tip, there are no major scratches or stains.
