I bought these for hiking two or three years ago. I was told they weren't waterproof, but would be okay in light rain, though I never actually wore them in the rain, so I can't confirm that. I've used them about three times for hiking and five times for casual wear around town. The design just doesn't quite click with me, and I don't wear them much, so I'm putting them up for sale.
