This is a vintage S. Yairi-made Morris Special W60. I love vintage S. Yairi guitars and went through a phase of collecting them from top to bottom. I kept a few that resonated particularly well. This item for sale is one of those, a Morris S. Yairi-made model with a 3-piece Brazilian rosewood back and sides. It features a beautiful vertical logo and an abalone rosette. The tuners are Schaller, making for a luxurious specification. The grain of the Brazilian rosewood is also beautiful. I played this guitar often, so it's been perfectly adjusted. The neck is straight, with no upbow, and the truss rod has room to spare. The saddle also has plenty of height remaining. The string height is approximately 2.3mm at the 12th fret on the 6th string and approximately 1.8mm on the 1st string. The nut has also been carefully adjusted, so it's ready to play as soon as it arrives. The top is relatively clean, but there are age-related scratches, dents, and slight clouding that can't be fully captured in the photos. I don't recommend this guitar to those who prefer pristine condition. It's a very good guitar with excellent sound projection, and I hope it will go to someone who will cherish it. I'm reluctantly selling it because I've acquired a guitar I've always dreamed of. I would appreciate it if you could refrain from negotiating the price.
