I purchased this item several years ago at an antique toy shop in Osaka. I believe it's from that time, but I have no way to prove it. Since it's a children's toy from approximately 50 years ago, I'm listing it as junk. It's a standard-size Kanegon figure from Bullmark, approximately 22.5 cm tall. The right foot has the markings of Tsuburaya Productions and Bullmark. In my subjective opinion, the black of the eyes and the red of the lips are still present, and the paint is generally well-preserved, suggesting it hasn't been heavily played with. I hope you'll understand. Please examine the images carefully. I've checked for common Kanegon issues like cracks at the base of the eyes and tail, but I don't believe there are any damages. However, since it's an old children's toy from over 50 years ago, there may be overlooked flaws, so please be aware of that. The neck, both arms, and both legs are movable. The neck is stiff, the right arm is stiff, the left arm is normal or slightly loose, and both legs are stiff. The looseness or stiffness can vary from person to person, so please understand. As it's an old item, I haven't disassembled it for inspection, so please consider it a junk item. On page 14 of the images, I've included a picture of the Kanegon with a Kewpie doll. *Please note that the Kewpie doll is NOT included in this listing.* Please be sure not to make a mistake. Pages 15 and 16 show my Yahoo Auctions catalog, and on page 31 of Yamada Masami's catalog, it mentions that Sofubi's father, Takeshi Kawamoto, also made Kewpie dolls and Kanegon. I personally believe that in the Showa era, every household had a Kewpie doll, which is why I personally love Kanegon so much. I also love the Jizo-style Ultraman. I'm going against the AI age.
