This is a piece by Melvin Lantaka, also known as Shell Lei Kumu, who is famous in Hawaii. We are the only ones in Japan selling Mr. Lantaka's work. A valuable triple strand of blue spruce. The effects of climate change are definitely reaching Hawaii. We can't imagine how many years it will take to gather this much blue spruce again, as the harvest has decreased so much. The length is 33 inches, approximately 84 centimeters. Woven in the pikake style. The condition is excellent. It's rare to find spruce with beads of this size.
