At the library in my city, some books that are being discarded as recycled books are available for free. I go there sometimes, but there aren't always great finds. When I go, I get excited wondering what I'll find! The other day, I found a wonderful book called "Seimei no Rekishi" (History of Life). The author is an American woman. She also drew the illustrations. She was born in 1909 and passed away in 1968. She lived for 59 years. The illustrations aren't just cute; they depict dinosaurs and grand landscapes. I thought they were wonderful. I think tastes may vary (lol). The paper is relatively thick and sturdy, making it suitable as a shopping bag. The bottom is glued with bond, making it strong. The string handles were made with white paper string, but I colored them with colorful oil-based markers to match the illustrations. This created a sense of unity with the bag itself. The punched holes (at the top) are double-folded, increasing their strength. Because they have a gusset, I tried using a sample prototype, and it was convenient. Why not put small items in them and use them as gifts or presents? These are fun bags with a unique quality that you won't find in commercial products.
