The "Kimono Design" created by the company in the early days of Aloha shirts can be said to be the ancestor of Japanese pattern Aloha shirts, but it is almost a miracle to encounter existing pieces, and its historical value is exceptionally high as well as its rarity. Sun Surf has, over many years of collecting vintage Aloha shirts, possessed two different Kimono designs, but after contacting many collectors and continuing their research, they finally succeeded in obtaining a third Kimono design. After analyzing the labels, sewing specifications, fabrics, and dyes used, it was found that, like the other two patterns, it was made in the early days of Aloha shirts. This discovery can be said to have created a new story in the history of Aloha shirts, and it is truly a miraculous encounter. Since the vintage item they obtained showed signs of fabric damage and discoloration due to aging, Sun Surf has reproduced the colors before the discoloration. They have completely reproduced the historical masterpiece in detail, including the "Aloha" label on the collar and the sewing specifications unique to the tailor-made of the time.
