This Linux-based OS has support until April 2027. I believe upgrading to Ubuntu 24.04 would extend support to 2029. You can watch videos on YouTube without any problems, and you can also use free office software like LibreOffice, so I think you can use it as a sub-machine for research or watching videos. However, the battery is already dead since I've had it for quite some time, and you can't use it unless the AC adapter is constantly connected. Please be aware of this. Also, it tends to get hot, so it's safer to place a laptop cooler underneath when using it. It might even help with heating in the winter. It could also be used as a parts donor. An AC adapter is included. Overall, it shows considerable signs of use, and although I've cleaned it with an air duster and alcohol, dirt is noticeable in the keyboard gaps. It can be used as is, but if you are concerned, I recommend disassembling the keys and cleaning them. Also, as you can see in the photos, there is paint wear on the keys. Those with knowledge or who can research on their own may want to clean the inside as well.
