This is a katakuchi (one-sided spout bowl) from a favorite artist. It's a piece by Hiroyuki Yabumoto, a popular artist who runs the "Kobo Kaka" workshop in the former Tsuki-mura, Nara. I purchased it from him at an exhibition. He's a wonderful person, and I became an even bigger fan. I really wanted it and bought it, but I haven't used it much, and have only displayed it after using it once. Dishes are meant to be used! So I'd love for someone who appreciates them to use it.
