This is a ten-shaku *shigoki* (underskirt) that is essential when wearing a *susohiki* (long-hemmed kimono). This item is made of pure silk, dyed from white to a crimson red. This was custom-made for a stage performance with three people, but it was not used because a different item was used due to a color change, so I am putting it up for sale. It is wider than the original width for wearing a *susohiki*, making it easy to wrap and allowing you to use it without worrying about the width of the obi. It has a thickness that allows you to wrap it securely. This is a new, unused item, a rare item that is not generally available.
