Our Bizen ware begins with crushing Bizen clay.
It is not fired in electric, gas, or kerosene kilns.
Instead, it is fired for about two weeks once a year,
in a kiln at around 1200 degrees Celsius,
without ever extinguishing the fire.
Ten days later, it is taken out of the kiln, lightly polished,
hand-washed, and checked for water leaks before being shipped.
We hope you will enjoy the unique texture of Bizen ware,
touching it, and the changes it undergoes as you use it (^人^)
