This is an unused remnant of white silk紬 fabric with a tortoiseshell pattern outlined in red on a white background. It's a retro fabric, and the price tag shows it was originally priced at 180,000 yen (see photo 7), so it was likely an expensive fabric at the time. It has a unique smooth, "tsururi" feel and a crisp, "shari-shari" texture.
