This is a controlled pottery plate I purchased at an antique market about 10 years ago. A cute sea bream is playing on the waves. The plate is also warped, just like the waves. It wouldn't feel out of place even with today's designs. The pattern is embossed. The sea bream is painted, and the large waves have a light painting. Water droplets are unpainted, each separated. The rim is a petal edge. Warping present. Two hairline cracks, stains present. Other marks are likely kiln marks. Please check the images carefully. On the back, it says either 1106 or 1108 of Gi. Likely controlled pottery. Size: Approximately 16 cm wide
