This is a set of two shikishi (art boards) featuring a "Renjishi" (running lion dance) pattern, woven on a jacquard loom using pre-dyed silk threads for both warp and weft. The material is 100% silk, and the fabric was manufactured by our company about 50 years ago as bedding material for weddings, which has now been bound into shikishi. The size is approximately 36 x 40 cm, making it a larger size for shikishi. It is not in perfect condition due to minor age-related dirt and stains. The last photo shows a small, dark stain in the lower left corner, and the next photo shows a small stain on the right side. They are not very noticeable, but please check the photos.
