This is a LEBLANC ring-key oboe (semi-automatic). Serial number: 2074 Ring-key oboes are rare and difficult to obtain, but they are also recommended for conversions from clarinets, which have a similar feel. I purchased this used item about 5 years ago after it had been overhauled.
