● Antique French dinner plate from the MOULIN DES LOUPS kiln, MARIE-LOUISE series. This kiln, "HAMAGE ET MOULIN DES LOUPS NORD" (Moulin des Loups & Hamage), originated from the Saint-Amand kiln. Located in the Picardy region of northern France, near the Belgian border, the kiln began operations in the late 18th century. MARIE-LOUISE was the Duchess of Parma and the Empress of Napoleon I of France. This plate is named after the proud Empress. It is beautiful as a dish and also as interior decor. ● Period Late 19th century to early 20th century ● Size Diameter 23cm ● Condition There are signs of aging such as stains, knife marks, and crazing in the glaze. Crazing lines are present throughout, giving it a rich atmosphere.
