◎ This is a shikishi (colored paper) featuring the zodiac animal for the year of the Ox. It depicts a Fushimi straw ox. It is from the year of the Ox, Heisei 9 (1997). ◎ This shikishi was produced using a technique from Yuzen dyeing. It was entirely hand-printed using many stencils, resulting in a piece with a very deep flavor. Also, I think it is very valuable. ◎ It was only displayed for about a month in 1997, and has been stored away since then. The outer bag shows signs of aging, but the shikishi inside is in very good condition. The colors have not faded. ◎ It might be difficult to display if you are concerned about the zodiac, but perhaps it would be appreciated if framed and given as a gift to someone overseas? ◎ As this is a used item, please understand that it is non-refundable and non-returnable. ◎ Please read my profile once.
