This is a samue (upper garment) made from an unused bolt of genuine Amami Oshima Tsumugi.
♡ This is a rare, purely hand-woven, mud-dyed kimono fabric.
Although the fabric does not have a glossy sheen, the texture of Amami Oshima Tsumugi is gentle and soft, and you can feel the warmth of the craftsman.
♡ It is a dark brown color, but delicate small flowers (red, light purple, orange) are gently drawn on it.
♡ It is softer than Oshima Tsumugi fabric and has a truly gentle feel that envelops you.
♡ The Amami Oshima Tsumugi trademark (image 12) is kept by us.
♡ You can easily wear it by tying the four ties.
Also, the areas where force is applied are sewn with a sewing machine, and delicate areas are carefully hand-sewn.
♡ It is a single-layered garment of Amami Oshima Tsumugi.
There is no lining such as shoulder lining.
♡ We carefully tailor each garment so that you can casually wear traditional Japanese kimonos for everyday wear and work wear.

♡ This item is handmade by my mother, who used to work as a tailor for a kimono shop.
We finish each garment with care, but please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a perfect item.
♡ Even with kimono (new bolt fabric), we wash it before tailoring.
For care, since there are hand-sewn parts, we recommend hand washing with a commercially available detergent for fashionable clothes.
