Maki-e is a unique Japanese lacquer decoration technique where gold powder is sprinkled onto underdrawings made with lacquer to add color. It requires time and patience as the designs are gradually completed. Although they are tea ceremony utensils, they are also beautiful as collectibles. Please note that there are no original boxes. They have been used only a few times. Due to long-term storage without boxes, the yellow natsume lids have some scratches and small dents. There are also some water spot marks.
