This is a figure of Caspar, one of the three wise men from the East who appear in the Nativity scene. He is depicted as a wise man with white hair, and in his hand he offers frankincense, a spice, to the infant Jesus. His appearance, quietly watching over the holy night, soothes the hearts of those who see him. *There are scratches, stains, and paint剥げ (peeling).*
