This is a drawstring bag in the shape of a plump, bright red goldfish. I bought it at a local craft store, where an elderly woman was selling her handmade items. It's knitted with a striking red, tape-like yarn, giving it a sturdy shape. The gold bead embellishments are lovely. The scalloped edging and frills are irresistible. I fell in love with it at first sight, but I haven't actually used it, so it's in beautiful condition. It would be cute to pair it with a yukata for a fireworks display, or with a kimono for Shichi-Go-San or New Year's.
