This is a magnificent model "Recamier" with gold gilding on the elegant and solemn Sevigne. The elegant Recamier series is named after Juliette Recamier (Madame Recamier), who was hailed as the most beautiful woman in the world's history. The pattern was applied using the etching technique (oxidation corrosion technique) that was only possible around 1900, and then delicately decorated with 24K gold gilding without damaging the image of the lovely Sevigne. The crystal is thick and heavy, and the thickness of the foot, which is about 2 cm, and the smooth shape are wonderful and overwhelming. It is a very elaborate piece, a gorgeous glass that symbolizes the good old days. This item is the perfect size for beer, cold sake, plenty of Japanese sake, or straight whiskey. It would also be a great gift for someone special. The Baccarat mark is on the bottom.
