This is a Karl Höfner viola from the West German era. The size is 15.5 inches. The sound of the instrument is similar to that of a Suzuki No. 3 (it sounds better than a No. 2). This is suitable for viola beginners or those looking for an instrument that can be handled somewhat casually (e.g., for outdoor performances). It is not powerful enough as a main instrument for those who play the viola seriously, so I recommend a different instrument for them.
