Argus is an American manufacturer famous for the C3, and the CR-1 is an OEM product of Chinon, which no longer exists. [The camera's performance is ordinary, with speeds up to 1/1000, but its design is unique.] The lenses are made by Tomioka Optical, a name familiar to all old lens enthusiasts. [In my subjective opinion, they become incredibly sharp from around f/5.6.] Standard, wide-angle, and telephoto prime lenses. [M42 mount, so it can be used with a wide range of cameras like the Pentax SP and Fujica ST.] According to online information, this camera is from around 1972 and was sold through mail order around 1978. ※Lens Contents※ 55mm f/1.7 28mm f/2.8 135mm f/2.8 (All M42 mount, and the 28mm and 135mm have a slight stickiness in the aperture.) ※Camera Operation Check※ Each shutter speed is working.
