For sale: a Holton B♭ trumpet, model T101B, from my collection. The Holton T101 is a model that copies the Bach 37 bell. The main visual differences are the Amado water key and the medal on the brace, making it very similar. Bach parts such as the rubber on the piston caps, felts, and 3rd valve slide stopper screws can be used. The symphony bell is slightly thicker, producing a dark and mellow sound. The pistons are made of Monel metal, and the original brass piston guides provide a cohesive sound. The connection between notes is smooth like a Bach, and it feels great to play, making it very easy to handle. I used it for combo jazz and horn sections. The trumpet for sale has no dents and is in very good condition. Most of the original lacquer remains. There are lacquer stains on the bell rim and other minor scratches, but considering its age, it is in the category of a beautiful item. I have regularly disassembled, cleaned, and maintained it. The felts have been replaced with the "Klang" brand. Each slide and piston operates without any problems, and it can be used immediately. Holton is a brand that Maynard Ferguson also used, so it has a long history and is a very well-made trumpet. It is in a different class than student models like YAMAHA. It can be used for all genres, such as jazz, horn sections, and wind orchestras. Holton trumpets in good condition are becoming increasingly rare, so it is recommended for those who are looking for one or for those who are just starting out. The included accessories are the original case. A mouthpiece is not included. Some styrofoam is coming out of the mouthpiece holder, so it has been sealed.
