This is a popular pre-dyed, standard Oxford cloth fabric for sewing, woven in Banshu, Hyogo Prefecture, using 40/1 compact cotton yarn made from high-quality cotton with no slub yarns. It uses high-quality yarn with excellent luster, and because impurities and short fibers are thoroughly removed, it's an Oxford fabric with few yarn irregularities and a beautiful finish. It's difficult to see through even with a single layer, and it's a standard fabric that can be widely used for home sewing regardless of the season.
