I purchased this as a second electric reel and have spooled it with new PE line and a leader. It's ready to fish immediately. I bought it used, but it's still unused. It comes with a battery (with cover), charger, cable, and the instruction manual I ordered. You can wash it with water after fishing. Please note that I will be selling it to someone else in a month due to poor health, so please be aware of this.
