I believe this is similar to what's called a pilot survival knife, which U.S. military pilots are equipped with for emergency escape. However, the details are unknown. There are no markings indicating the manufacturer or other details. I remember purchasing it about 30 years ago. There are some areas with light rust. It's not stainless steel, so I've applied a thin coat of knife oil for storage. I'll also include the sheath, but it's damaged and in poor condition, so please consider it a bonus.
