It was convenient to have a milk-making pot and a bottle of water by my pillow, so I didn't have to go all the way to the kitchen to make milk. There are no cracks or breaks, but there are white mineral deposits (limescale) from tap water on the spout of the pot. I think it can be removed with citric acid.
