This is a homemade whip finisher. It can be used for fly tying, making Tenkara kebari (artificial flies), jigging assist hooks, trout lure hooks, and feather jigs. It is a tool used to tie and secure the thread wrapped around the hook. It is made using stainless steel wire. The tip is filed.
