This is a plastic gourd-shaped container that originally held tsukudani (simmered kelp) given as a gift. The tsukudani was in a bag, not directly in the container, so the container itself didn't get dirty with the sauce. After removing the tsukudani, I kept it stored in the cupboard. Since I haven't used it for anything, I've listed its condition as new and unused. I didn't see any cracks or chips. There were fine scratches on the curved part of the side from the beginning (see photo 3). The lid features a fan design with white and gold depictions of chrysanthemums, plum blossoms, peonies, autumn leaves, pine trees, and a palanquin, creating an elegant atmosphere. The inside of the lid is vermilion-lacquered. There are no dividers, but it's perfect for a lunch box (please avoid dishes with liquid as the lid doesn't have a gasket). The dimensions are: Maximum height: approximately 17.5cm Maximum width: approximately 14cm Depth: approximately 4.3cm (Approximately 4.5cm with the lid on). In addition to the elegant and auspicious design, it's gourd-shaped, which symbolizes success in life. Besides a lunch box, it would also be lovely as a container for small items, postcards, short letters, or writing instruments. What do you think? Please consider purchasing it.
