Purchased over 25 years ago from an antique shop in France. This is a very old, wooden, folding towel bar/towel hanger. It's from the 1920s-30s and was used in places like earthen-floored areas or bedrooms. You can easily hang or display linens, dish towels, kitchen cloths, towels, etc. It's a fairly large size, so you can hang not only linens and towels, but also some clothes or laundry. It can be moved to a small space like a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, eaves, veranda, or entrance, and it seems very useful. It would also be lovely to use your favorite fabrics as a partition or screen. When not in use, it can be folded up and stored. It's very old, so there is some dirt, wear, and slight warping, but the hinges are sturdy and it seems like it will still be useful.
