This rod stand is made from beautifully grained Japanese cedar that has been cut, milled, and processed. It is a finished product, so no assembly is required, and you can use it right away. We are committed to using quality materials and carefully crafting the product with mortise and tenon joinery and an oil finish. (Using screws, bolts, or leaving the wood unfinished can detract from the appearance, compromise strength, and lower quality due to cracking or warping.)
