This is a tokkuri (sake bottle) by Kato Sakusuke, considered one of the greatest masters in the history of Seto-yaki (Seto ware). The piece is a single-color persimmon glaze except for the area near the bottom, making it a rare example of Sakusuke's work. There are no noticeable cracks or chips.
