Ginza To-ya, a craft pottery shop that makes the makeup tools favored by Tamasaburo, is known for its delicate, Kyoto-style craftsmanship and is used in famous high-end restaurants and traditional Japanese cuisine establishments. The color is a warm, skin-toned hue reminiscent of Hagi ware. It gently embraces any dish. It was a frequently used piece due to its ease of use, but I've decided to put it up for sale because it has some chips (two on the rim, and several on the foot) and would be suitable for kintsugi (gold repair). There is color within the crack patterns, and there are also stains on the underside (which may be removable with bleach).
