While these are not Made in USA, they were made in the period when 501s were produced in South America alongside those made in the USA, as the manufacturing year is 2000. Therefore, only the country of production differs; the fabric is the same as that used in US-made jeans. The fabric is, of course, Cone Mills (Cone Denim) fabric.
