I am offering a set of 7 deep bowls with a black glaze, possessing a quiet presence. The glaze has a rich texture that appears to shift from ink black to a slight reddish hue depending on the light. With a matte finish, it enhances the colors of the food placed in it, lending a touch of elegance to your everyday dining table. These are being sold as part of a decluttering of my family home. There's a rumor they are Arita ware, but as they are unmarked, I cannot be certain. They have been stored in a nearly unused state, but due to long-term storage, there are minor scuffs, glaze drips from the firing process (known as "yudare"), and individual variations. Therefore, I have listed them as having some damage. Please check the photos. All of these are a result of the manufacturing process or storage and there are no major damages such as cracks or chips.
